​小野山遙華

5歳で書道を始め、13 歳の時に墨象という表現に出会いました。以来、線の美しさと余白の美、 アンバランスのバランスで構成される紙面の世界に、私は引き込まれ、20 年にわたって制作を続 けてまいりました。 ふとした時に目にする四季折々の豊かな自然や固有の土地の風景から得た感動や、暮らしの中で 心に留めておきたいような愛おしい瞬間を切り取りたい。不安定な世界情勢の中、心が荒んでし まう時もあるけれど、足元を見れば、春にはちゃんと花が咲き、たんぽぽの綿毛が舞い上がり、 顔を上げればヤマモモが色づき、夜になると蛍が光る。うるさいくらいのセミの鳴き声が過ぎ去 れば、むせ返りそうな金木犀の香りに包まれ、稲穂も黄金色に染まり、栗や柿の実も熟し、木々 の葉っぱも色づいて冬支度を始める。その繰り返しの中で生きていることを、尊く美しいと感じ ながら制作しています。 子育てをしながらもう一度、そんな世界を再発見していく楽しみも、制作の原動力となっています。

I began calligraphy at the age of five, and at the age of thirteen I was introduced to the art of Bokusho. Since then, I have been drawn into the world of paper composed of the beauty of lines and margins, and the balance of imbalance, and have continued to create for 20 years. I want to capture the emotions I experience from the abundance of nature and the unique landscapes of the four seasons, as well as the lovely moments that I want to keep in my heart in my daily life. The unstable world situation sometimes makes me feel a bit emotional, but if I look at my feet, I can see flowers blooming in spring, dandelions fluttering in the air, mountain peaches changing colors when I look up, and fireflies shining in the night. When the noisy chirping of cicadas passes, the air is filled with the sweltering fragrance of golden osmanthus, ears of rice turn golden, chestnuts and persimmons ripen, and leaves on trees change color and begin to prepare for winter. The repetition of this cycle makes me feel the preciousness and beauty of being alive. The pleasure of rediscovering this world while raising my children is also a driving force behind my work.
